Welcome to Faith Baptist Church of Lakewood.  We think of ourselves as a small country church that the city sort of grew up around.  We have been around for over 60 years, faithfully preaching the Bible and Jesus Christ.  The "Messages" tab will take you to three year's worth of sermons.  You can listen by chronological order or by topic.

Our church is blessed with a pastor, Jerry Maurer, who not only preaches great sermons, but also leads us in lots of special music.  The "Music" tab on the left will take you to some of the piano solos played during the offering as well as music produced by members of our congregation.

We contribute support to several ministries around the world from a team that ministers to wounded missionary families in Europe to teams teaching at seminaries in Africa, to an inner city church in downtown Denver.

The "Missions" tab will tell you about the summer trips members of our church take to other countries for a short trip to help local churches with special projects and to help them put on Vacation Bible Schools for the local children.  We have gone to Ecuador and to a small island in the Bahamas called Eluthra. We went to Montana to help a church there with a musical outreach in the parks as well as a vacation Bible school.
