Reminder To All Members:When you are laid off and you check the box stating you are a member in good standing of a union, and you are required to seek work through your hall, you must call the hall and put your name on the available work list for the agent to send your verification form to ODJFS. If you do not make yourself available for work, the form could be rejected by the ODJFS and you may be denied your unemployment compensation.

MISSION STATEMENT
Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers Local Union’s mission
is to secure and maintain desirable working conditions for our members by providing their employers with properly trained and prepared sheet metal workers, enabling our members to provide for themselves and their families by earning a fair day’s pay in exchange for a fair day’s work.
The Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers’ Local Union 33 is a brotherhood of skilled craftsman that possess the aptitude and expertise in both construction and industrial work to supply the community with a sense of safety and stability. Dedicated men and women have endured extensive training that instills positive morale, immense integrity, and proficient workmanship.
