Bands on the Bricks

From rock to reggae and everything in between, Bands on the Bricks is Boulder County's premier outdoor summer concert series taking place in the heart of the city on the bricks of the one-and-only Pearl Street Mall. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition, our 2024 season includes 8 weeks of free concerts. Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars.

The beer garden opens at 5:30 pm with the opening band starting at 6:00 pm.  The headlining band plays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  The 2024 concert line-up will be posted May 1.

The Reminders

A rare and remarkable musical duo with undeniable magical chemistry, The Reminders transcend the bounds of expectation to uplift and entertain. They seamlessly blend razor sharp rhythms and raw, soulful vocals with reggae-tinged hip-hop beats to highlight their relevant and inspiring messages. The couple shares a partnership in both music and life as Samir and Aja have been married for over a decade.

The Reminders have been recognized and applauded for their work internationally through concerts, tours, music awards, TV and radio appearances. They have shared the stage with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Nas, Big Boi and Ms. Lauryn Hill among others.

ZiMBiRA Afro Fusion Band

Opening Act: DJ Musa Starseed

Join us to celebrate Juneteenth with ZiMBiRA Afro Fusion Band. Reveling in the traditional & contemporary music of Zimbabwe, the music is grounded in the ancient repertoire of the mbira and the beat of the hosho shaker. It evolves as the beautiful lines are reflected on the guitar and marimba, and other instrumentation of the moment which may include mbira, karimba, guitar, ukelele, bass, marimba, hosho, vocals, hand and kit drums.

Hazel Miller & The Collective

Opening Act: Jackie Hadley

Hazel Miller and the Collective is a highly popular and in-demand band in Colorado and beyond. Ms. Miller, an accomplished performer who has been playing in Colorado for almost four decades, and was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2023. She has shared the stage with notable names such as Herbie Hancock, Michael McDonald, Al Green, and Big Head Todd and the Monsters, among others.

Ms. Miller's voice has been described as "stunning, moving, and powerful." For more than two decades, The Hazel Miller Band has been one of the most sought-after performers in the state, and in 2020, they renamed to Hazel Miller and the Collective. The band plays an eclectic mix of jazz, R&B, blues, and original music that is guaranteed to make the audience dance and sing along. They create a truly engaging musical experience that excites their listeners.

Foxfeather

Opening Act: Eramis Fontenot

Foxfeather is a sultry, alt-americana band founded in 2013 in Boulder, CO. Beginning with a lyrical base, and bolstered by strong blues-rock instrumentals, Foxfeather’s unique sound captivates their audience. Songwriters Carly Ricks Smith and Laura Paige Stratton met in high school, connecting over their shared love of music. The pair began writing together in 2005 and have been creating material for, and leading their band for the past 7 years. Foxfeather is extremely proud of being an advocate of women in art and in business, and strives to motivate and empower other women and allies through song. The band is a local staple in the Colorado Front Range and also tours nationally.

The 5280s Band is a fun and fantastic party band bringing the looks and sounds of the 80s to every awesome show. Stacked with vocal and instrumental talent that allows us to perform a wide variety of popular 80s songs - including Journey, Bon Jovi, GNR, AC/DC, Loverboy, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Madonna, The Go-Go's, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Idol, Rick Springfield, The Cars, DEVO and more.

Made up of experienced Denver performers, this crew knows how to get crowds out of their seats and onto the dance floor. The 5280s Band performs at clubs, outdoor concerts, and at public and private events around the Denver metro and mountain region.

Mighty Mystic

Opening Act: Wylie Jones

Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the international reggae scene and is a box office draw at venues and a staple at festivals. The Jamaican born U.S. based artist has 5 highly acclaimed albums 4 of which charted top 10 on Billboard and iTunes. He is labeled as a touring machine with roughly 40 tours equaling thousands of concerts and a career spanning two decades. His high flying, stage diving, brand of reggae music is electrifying and has been captivating audiences everywhere. He has gone from being a fan of reggae music to being a major contributor to the art.

The Long Run

Opening Act: Dylan Kishner

The Long Run, 'Colorado's Tribute to The Eagles', hails from the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado. Born in 2009, the band immediately hit the road doing Fairs and festivals all over the Four Corners states-region, including many others.  Laden with 4 and 5 part harmonies, the Long Run reproduces the Eagles' hits with an organic 70's sound, accurate lead guitarists, multi-instrumentalists, and a lead-singing drummer.
