CareFirst Medical Group is a new state-of-the art medical facility located in the city of Ontario. Our goal is to provide the surrounding community with a multi-service clinic designed to meet the demands of both Occupational Health and Urgent Care Services. We are comprised of highly skilled, board-certified physicians, nurses and support staff experienced in treatment of work-related injuries and common illnesses. We incorporate the latest technological advancements in equipment, employ electronic medical records and computer generated reports, as well as utilizing evidence-based methods to ensure the most cost-effective outcomes.

Through the careful monitoring of each phase of treatment and our unique approach of individualized treatment, we can better estimate an injured workers return to work. Here at CareFirst Medical Group, the care and treatment of work-related injuries is provided by our team of caring and compassionate healthcare professionals. Our designated occupational medicine staff will work with your company, your injured employee and your insurance carrier to coordinate the medical services required to help your sick or injured employee recover and to get back to work as soon as possible.
By visiting your workplace, we can make on-site evaluations, as well as making recommen-dations to promote a safer work place environment. We can also provide on-site wellness promotion classes, including stretching exercises, proper lifting techniques and the use of appropriate safety equipment. Through our Health Fairs and Flu Vaccination Clinics, your employees can be screened for common medical conditions, as well as promoting disease prevention.
In addition to competent and compassionate physicians knowledgeable in the area of worker’s compensation and ACOEM guidelines, we also provide a full array of services for your injured worker. For your convenience, in-house laboratory and radiological services are available. With an on-site Physical Therapy Department, we can better coordinate and monitor the care provided to your injured worker and thus, help your injured employee return to work sooner.For injuries not deemed work-related, we also provide Urgent Care Services and a dispensing Pharmacy to help address the needs of your employees with no medical insurance. By having all these services under one roof, we can help minimize loss of productivity and assist in cost containment while ensuring that your employee receives the appropriate treatment modalities to promote the return back to work sooner.

Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners
We are looking for full or part time Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners to join our team and service our community. In this role you will collaborate with physicians and other mid-level practitioners supported by a team of clinical staff to provide care and support to patients seeking urgent care services in a fast-paced Industrial Medicine Clinic. Qualified PA/NP candidates must have an active California license with preferred Urgent Care and Industrial Medicine experience. New graduates welcome. Acquisition of DOT Certification is required within 30 days of position acceptance. Participation in On Call Coverage is required of this position. Flexible hours available to pick up clinic shifts.
Seeking a highly motivated/enthusiastic and resourceful self-starter/team player to secure contracts and market for an Industrial Medicine and Urgent Care Clinic. Candidates should be out-of-the-box thinkers and possess outstanding/aggressive customer service skills to sell and close accounts. We are seeking candidates with outgoing personalities who enjoy interacting with people to foster relationships for sales/business development. Experience in workers compensation sales/marketing recommended, but not required. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant
Busy Urgent Care / Work Comp Clinic looking for full or part time X-ray Tech/Medical Assistants to perform front and back office duties. We are looking for a team player with excellent customer service skills who is reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment. BAT & DS Certification a plus. BAT and DS Certification required within 2 months of hire date to meet requirements of our clients. Bilingual Spanish a plus! Participation in On-Call Coverage with other Clinical Staff Team Members is required for this position.
Seeking an energetic and independent licensed physical therapist who would like to grow with the business. If you would like to set up your own hours and work Part Time during the week, please contact us about our Physical Therapy Position. Our outpatient Industrial Medicine / Work Comp clinic is in need of a physical therapist who will provide initial and ongoing assessments to determine level of functioning and patient’s progress. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from Musculoskeletal Work Related Injuries. In this role, the PT must demonstrate strong communication skills with peers and their clients. The ideal physical therapist for this job will be energetic, an effective communicator and be dedicated to providing high-quality to care to all of their patients. The PT will perform direct patient care, including evaluation of muscle, skeletal, neurological and other physical problems. The PT will develop, review, explain and implement physician physical therapy orders with the injured worker. The PT will present clients with updates while making care suggestions to the medical team and coordinate with clinic team members to provide high-quality services and care to all our patients. The PT must be a Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. The PT must possess and active and unrestricted license by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance - PT or DPT licensure required. New Graduates welcome! Experience in outpatient orthopedics a plus. Bilingual/Spanish preferred.

For any work related injury, the supervisor must complete the Treatment Authorization Form (TAR) and have the injured worker bring a signed copy to the clinic for treatment.
If you are injured or become ill, either physically or mentally, because of your job, you may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits.
