Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like wind and solar.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Why should I repair my roof before spring severe weather arrives?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperatures swings and storms by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder block and brickwork for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped if damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
