How often should I have a dental exam and cleaning?

You should have your teeth checked and cleaned at least twice a year, though your dentist or dental hygienist may recommend more frequent visits. Regular dental exams and cleaning visits are essential in preventing dental problems and maintaining the health of your teeth and gums.

Why is it important to use dental floss?

Brushing our teeth removes food particles, plaque, and bacteria from all tooth surfaces, except in between the teeth. Daily flossing is the best way to clean between the teeth and under the gumline. Flossing not only helps clean these spaces, it disrupts plaque colonies from building up, preventing damage to the gums, teeth, and bone.

I went to TLC dental with an infection needing a root canal, crown, etc. I have a health condition that required to treat the infection first. Time was against me, but their doctors and employees were incredible! First they took out my old crown and made the temporary one, made the appt for root canal in their Ft. Lauderdale office since they didn’t have an opening in Sheridan, all of this was happening within a week. Now I am waiting for the crown that the lab will have ready by the 30. I am in awe at such a professionalism, caring, team work, follow up, etc. I felt I was with my family not with strangers. I have recommended Neiborgs and family, this is a special dental office you will not find anywhere.
