Plow is the result of six musicians finding common ground and breaking new artistic ground. At the heart of this sound is Chris Clarke, a life-long student and performer of traditional, southern Appalachian heritage music. Born in Virginia, Chris’s authentic style is rooted in old-time blues, bluegrass, and folk.

A master storyteller, he connects with audiences through colorful narratives. Regularly performing solo and with Plow across Southern California, Chris embodies tradition while bringing exciting, satisfying musical innovation to every performance.
