The Chartreuse Muse is a modern, urban art gallery and school in downtown Modesto, offering a diverse selection of fine art from local and regional artists.

The Muse provides comprehensive art education for all ages and skill levels, taught by teachers and guest artists. In 2017, the school expanded to include a fully equipped Clay Studio, featuring potters wheels and a kiln, dedicated to creative expression.

New customers can explore unique artworks in painting, ceramics, glasswork, and more. Registration is now open for Family & Friends small group classes (Art Adventures and Clay Classes) held on Thursdays. Additionally, interactive kits, such as the Owl Pocket Clay Kit, are available for purchase.
