Our work, led by Dr. Kazuko Shem, successfully utilized FaceTime to deliver specialized treatment, nutrition counseling, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI).

This research demonstrates that telemedicine reduces barriers to specialized care, increases patient independence, and improves quality of life.
