Pee Dee Healthy Start is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, operating as one of 15 federally-funded demonstration sites established in 1991 to reduce infant mortality. We are dedicated to improving community health outcomes through free services.

Our Outreach actively recruits prenatal and interconceptional clients and their infants into comprehensive care. We foster collaboration by providing local and regional forums where consumers, providers, and volunteers can work together toward healthier birth outcomes. Furthermore, we build local partnerships and offer marital and relationship education to strengthen families within the Pee Dee region. We are committed to addressing community issues and ensuring healthier starts for every family.
