Legal Aid Chicago provides essential free civil legal services to people living in poverty across Chicago and suburban Cook County.

Legal Aid Chicago fights for justice by ensuring that the most vulnerable residents have an advocate. We focus on breaking the cycle of poverty by helping clients achieve increased assets, income, reduced debt, access to work and education, and improved health and safety. Our services support survivors of violence and trafficking, and address issues of homelessness.
