The Housing Authority of Elgin (HAE) is the premier affordable housing provider for the City of Elgin and Kane County. We offer comprehensive rental assistance programs, including Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties and the Housing Choice Voucher program, along with a Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program for clients.

While the Affordable Housing Waitlist is open, the HCV waitlist is currently closed. HAE is committed to providing optimal customer service.
