The Institute of Islamic Education (IIE), established in 1989 in Elgin, IL, is an independent, non-profit institution dedicated to teaching the sacred and intellectual foundations of Islamic heritage.

IIE offers comprehensive education through two full-time programs: the Hifdh Ul-Qur’an Program and the Alim Program. We employ a classical method of instruction, emphasizing close teacher-student interaction and textual transmission. Additional weekend and evening programs are available for part-time learners.
