Delta Upsilon was founded over 190 years ago as the first non-secret fraternity in the country, with its roots rooted in a strong sense of justice and community values that have guided us ever since. Today we continue to uphold our motto Justice, Our Foundation by striving to make a positive impact on college life through our four founding principles: Development of Character, Advancement of Justice, Diffusion of Liberal Culture, and Promotion of Friendship.
