SCIL Promotes Independent Living: The Springfield Center for Independent Living (SCIL) is dedicated to promoting the philosophy that all persons, regardless of disability, have the right to control their lives and participate equally in society.

SCIL increases equality, integration, and independence through advocacy, services, and public education. They provide essential assistance, including training, referrals, and support for home modifications and ramps.

SCIL also spearheads vital initiatives such as the Going Home Advocacy Day, healthy food distribution, and resources for veterans and parents.
