The Community Action Council celebrates 55 years of service dedicated to creating economic opportunity and helping individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.

Our mission is built on understanding individual needs, allowing our staff to work closely with residents to assess goals and develop a personalized "pathway out of poverty." We focus on three core areas: assessing needs, providing immediate support during crises, and fostering quality education and job readiness.

Through initiatives like early childhood education, workforce development training, and community engagement, the Council eliminates barriers to success. We partner with community leaders and organizations to ensure that every family has the resources and strong foundation needed to thrive.
