Community MusicWorks (CMW) is dedicated to transforming urban communities through music education and performance, enriching the lives of children, families, and musicians.

Our model centers on the MusicWorks Collective—musicians-in-residence who lead teaching, mentoring, program design, and performance activities. Through this collaborative approach, CMW creates cohesive community experiences.

We actively pursue equity and creative development, exemplified by our involvement in the Lewis Prize for Music.
