Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc. (CIH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping people in crisis through mental health intervention and referral. We provide free, confidential, and anonymous crisis and suicide prevention counseling 24/7 via trained volunteer counselors.

As the sole Survivor of Suicide Support Group in the Houston/Harris County area, we offer essential support, including educational presentations for schools and businesses on suicide prevention and post-vention skills. CIH also operates the Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Crisis Response Team (CRT) for on-site support during traumatic events.
