The Laredo Housing Authority (LHA) is dedicated to creating community living through affordable housing opportunities, building on a legacy since 1939. LHA owns and manages 994 safe, decent, and affordable public housing units across eight locations, while administering the Housing Choice Voucher Program for 1,390 families.

We empower residents by providing supportive services and self-sufficiency classes. LHA actively collaborates with the community on initiatives like the RAD Russell Terrace project and encourages participation in local surveys. Furthermore, we prioritize transparency, ensuring public access to records and adhering to strict guidelines, including Section 3 policies that encourage hiring low-income persons, ensuring that housing opportunities are available to all Laredo residents.
