Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS) remains committed to providing a safe and structured educational environment for all scholars and families.

Due to current high COVID-19 infection rates in the region, which exceed state health thresholds, FWPS will continue offering 100% remote learning through December. This decision ensures the health and safety of our community while allowing for a cautious, gradual return to in-person instruction. We prioritize minimizing disruption by starting the transition slowly with youngest learners. FWPS will continue to follow all Department of Health guidelines and keep the community informed throughout the reopening process.
