THORPS, founded in 2008, is a community-minded salon in Madison, WI, specializing in haircuts and color for all genders. Inspired by traditional neighborhood barber shops, we offer a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where our team provides direct, educational, and attentive service, accommodating both traditional and experimental hairstyles.

We are an intentionally inclusive space, welcoming all genders, sexualities, races, and faiths to express themselves safely. To enhance convenience, we utilize the Aura booking software and offer curbside product pickup instead of walk-in sales. We value our clients' time, requiring 48 hours notice for appointment changes. We strive to serve our community to the best of our ability.
