Our Mission

We serve individuals who are living with life-altering conditions by providing therapies that help to deliver hope.

 Delivering hope since 2008

Our Vision

Like most businesses, HeartSprings Community Healing Center was changed by the events of 2020-2022. We were transformed and are re-imagining ourselves as HeartSprings 2.0, building new partnerships and focusing on what is most important to us; an integrated approach to healing.

Today our partners include:  The FM Homeless Coalition, The Downtown Engagement Center, Memory CafĂ©, and NDSU Extension.

How can we work with you and your company to foster wellness?

HeartSprings 2.0 creates integrated health programs and personalized wellness plans for anyone who wants a more holistic approach to their healing.

The staff at HeartSprings 2.0 holds a picture of every human being as powerful, including our belief about our ability to heal. We want to help YOU see yourself as powerful, not as victim or as disabled by a chronic condition or trauma, but as a whole being. Everyone can live a thriving life.

HeartSprings’ mission is to provide Health, Hope, Healing and Vibrancy to those living with chronic or life-altering conditions. By utilizing holistic services, we accomplish our mission by working through the Body, Soul (mind/emotions), and Spirit for healing.

HeartSprings depends on private pay, donations, and grants.  We are most grateful for our most recent grants (2024) from North Dakota Association for the Disabled, FM Area Foundation, The Arts Partnership, and Strengthen ND.

Our Philosophy

We are inspired by the amazing spirit of Fred Rogers who embodied the concept of Tikkun Olam as a “repairer of creation.” This concept resonates with HeartSprings and we seek to bring the intention of Tikkun Olam to every client. In the film, Won’t You Be My Neighbor, Mr. Rogers personified Tikkum Olam and taught us to become “Repairers of Creation” for one another.

Our History

HeartSprings Community Healing Center is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit serving as the region’s Community Healing Center since 2008. We specialize in neurological challenges such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain injury, pain, and sleeplessness. We have also added services for those with mental health and recovery challenges, such as anxiety, depression and trauma.

Land Acknowledgement

"First, we collectively acknowledge that, here in the Midwest, we live and eat from the traditional lands of the Nu’eta (Mandan), Hidatsa, Sanish (Arikara), Lakota/Dakota, and Anishinabe/Ojibwe/Chippewa people.

Let us respect and learn from Indigenous people who have always recognized the true connections between a healthy Earth, healthy lands, and healthy people."

(Taken from the book, Midwest Mediterranean)
HeartSprings acknowledges the wisdom of the above statement especially as we deal with the chronic illnesses of our time and our region.  Food is Medicine and it depends on a healthy Earth.
